Comment: my family stayed at the torland in 2003 didn't like it very much the place was dingy and food not up to much.Decided to give it another chance this june 2006 it is now under new management and boy what an improvement food excellant staff very friendly rooms spotless the manager couldn't do enough for us!!!!!! thouroughly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment: What a nice change, we stayed at this hotel in August and was surprised at how friendly it was, they even provided buckets and spades and crab lines for my children to save them spending their well earned pocket money, they've thought of everything. It was like a breathe of fresh air, we will definitely be back, we've even made a provisional booking for next year.

This is our 3rd visit to Torland and is our first choice when staying in beautiful South Devon. Thanks to Chris, Mike, Jess and Paige for all your efforts. Comment: I used to work in the Torland hotel when It was under the old management and I hated it. The rooms were dark and dingy, and I wasnt treated nicely at all.It was a shame because the hotel is in such an amazing location and it wasnt being as popular as it should have been. Looking at the new management and what they have done it looks amazing so everyone should stay in the torland hotel as the managers deserve it for the hard work they have put into making it as beautiful as it now is.

Comment: We stayed at the Torland for 2 nights, and we were made very welcome. It felt like a home from home. The breakfast's were amazing and the children ate everything they could. Will definitley be staying again and highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you Chris.
